Existing installations of Shoutcast Gadget are NOT affected by this update.
You can safely remove the old version and replace it with the new version.

Remove old version

Go to your Windows installation directory

Open the ShoutcastGadget directory

Remove the ShoutcastGadget folder

Replace with the new version

Auto-Start

Go to your Windows Start Menu and open the Control Panel.

Search for the Shoutcast Gadget application

Right click on the Shoutcast Gadget and click “Run as Administrator”

Find the option “Change the application’s settings”

Click on the “Start the program” button

You can now select your Shoutcast gadget settings from the pull-down menu

There are several new settings which you can access using this menu.
The settings dialog has a list of all available Shoutcast gadgets.

Choose the player you want to use

If you set the Shoutcast gadget to the “Clementine” player, the default player is ClementPlayer.

You can now choose the player you want to use in the Shoutcast gadget properties (Start the program, Shoutcast gadget properties, Control panel, Devices and Printers, Printers).

Set the location of the station directory

This setting is optional.
It allows you to store your favorite stations in another location than the default directory.
